On September 1, 2018, the Government launched 45-day public consultations on a possible ASEAN-Canada FTA. The main objective of the consultation is to hear from a broad range of partners, stakeholders and individual Canadians to help define Canada’s interests in a possible FTA with ASEAN and inform future decisions on next steps, including whether to launch FTA negotiations. For background information, please consult the possible Canada-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement webpage.
The Government of Canada is interested in receiving your views on a possible ASEAN-Canada FTA. Please take the time to participate and share your perspectives and insights.
