Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, in partnership with the USDA IR-4 Project and the USDA-Foreign Agricultural Service, will host The Third Global Minor Use Summit, from October 1-4, 2017 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Quebec. The Summit will feature multiple presentations, workshops and breakout sessions designed to help growers address challenges in accessing tools, to develop strategies, and to address international minor use harmonization issues.

Speakers will share experiences from capacity building projects on the evolution of dedicated minor use programs, and activities in technical and cooperative areas. Outcomes of the breakout sessions will be collated into a new Global Minor Use Work Plan that will serve to guide future cooperation and coordination.

Register today for the event and for the optional field tour on October 5th and play a part in bringing healthy crops to the world.
