The Opportunities
The Annual General Meeting
The AGM is an opportunity for leaders in fruit and vegetable production, business, and federal government to come together to discuss priority issues and decide on a course of action for addressing these issues in the coming year.
All sponsors receive:
- Your logo on the AGM webpage, in the AGM event package and on plenary presentations
- Recognition in the next edition of Fresh Thinking, FVGC’s semi-annual bilingual print magazine that reaches 5,000+ people across Canada, the United States and internationally
- Recognition in FVGC’s monthly newsletter HortShorts and the post AGM Member Note
AGM Sponsorship Packages
Depending on the sponsorship package you choose, ranging in price from $500-$15,000, there are additional visibility options. You can read more about the AGM Sponsorship Packages below:
Host the Head Start Social: $5,000
Sponsor the social reception hour that takes place the evening before the AGM official kicks off. Your company will receive a formal thank during the welcome speech and a “Thank you to our Head Start Social Sponsor” sign with your logo prominently featured will be displayed.”
Host the Official Welcome Reception: $15,000
AGM delegates, parliamentarians and government representatives will be invited to network and mingle during our opening night Welcome Reception. You will be introduced by the FVGC President and invited to the podium to say a few words about your organization and to welcome guests. A large “thank you” sign will be placed in a highly visible area of the reception event space. You will have an opportunity to play a short corporate video during the reception and display your own pull up banner(s). One complimentary AGM registration for a representative of your organization is also included in this sponsorship.
Banquet: $5,000 (6 sponsorships available at $5,000 each)
Your name and company will be formally announced by the Master of Ceremonies during the banquet dinner in recognition of your sponsorship. You will have an opportunity to provide a short corporate video which we will present during the meeting in advance of the banquet.
A “Thank you to our Banquet Sponsors” sign with your logo will be prominently displayed at the event. “Thank you to our Banquet Sponsors”
Co-branded menus will be placed at each place setting.
Banquet Entertainment: $2,000 (3 sponsorships available at $2,000 each)
Your name and company will be formally announced by the Master of Ceremonies during the banquet dinner in recognition of your sponsorship.
Conference Office: $1,250 (4 sponsorships available at $1,250 each)
Your company will receive a formal thank you by the Master of Ceremonies during the banquet and a “Thank you to our Conference Office Sponsor” sign with your logo will be prominently displayed.
Wi-Fi during the four days of meetings : $4,000
You will be able to choose the password all attendees will use to access the Wi-Fi in the meeting rooms. Your logo will be prominently displayed in the rooms at the event.
Host the President’s Suites Events: $7,500
This opportunity includes hosting two President’s Suites: Tuesday evening and Wednesday after the Banquet. Both suites will be an open invitation to mix and mingle with AGM delegates, continuing the evening celebrations.
Wednesday after the banquet, you will join the FVGC President in a toast and have the opportunity to say a few words. Your logo and hosting recognition “President’s Suite generously hosted by Company XYZ” will be featured on signage in the suite.
Breakfast or Lunch on Wednesday: $5,000 (4 Sponsorships at $5,000 each)
Your company will be formally announced during the breakfast or luncheon in recognition of your sponsorship. A “Thank you to our Breakfast/Luncheon Sponsors” sign with your logo on it will be prominently displayed at the event. “Thank you to our Breakfast/Luncheon Sponsors” co-branded menus will be placed at each table.
Lunch on Thursday: $5,000 (2 Sponsorships at $5,000 each)
Your company will be formally announced during the breakfast or luncheon in recognition of your sponsorship. A “Thank you to our Luncheon Sponsors” sign with your logo on it will be prominently displayed at the event. “Thank you to our Luncheon Sponsors” co-branded menus will be placed at each table.
Dinner wine at the banquet: $2,500 (2 sponsorships available at $2,500 each)
Your name and company will be formally announced by the Master of Ceremonies during the banquet dinner in recognition of your sponsorship. A “Thank you to our Banquet Sponsors” sign with your logo will be prominently displayed at the event. “Thank you to our Dinner Wine Sponsors” will be placed at each table.
Florals: $1,000 (3 sponsorships at $1,000 each)
Floral arrangements are displayed at several venues during the AGM: in the conference office, at the luncheons and during the banquet. Your company will be formally recognized during the Banquet by the Master of Ceremonies.
Voting Software Sli.do - $1,000 (2 sponsorships at $1,000 each)
Coffee & Tea Breaks: $500 (6 sponsorships at $500 each)
Coffee & Tea breaks are a welcome opportunity for networking between meetings. As a co-sponsor, your logo will be featured on a “Thank you to our Coffee & Tea Break Sponsors” sign placed near the table during all breaks throughout the AGM.
Joint Advocacy Events – Fall Harvest and Farm to Plate
Farm to Plate and Fall Harvest are our joint advocacy events with the Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) held annually in the spring and the fall. These events bring our members and growers directly in front of policymakers and feature a very popular evening reception where attendees informally gather.
All sponsors above $1000 have their logo prominently displayed on the event websites, signage at the evening reception (with over 100 attendees), and inclusion in the post-event communication to members of both FVGC and CPMA.

$5,000 – Sponsorship of 2023 Farm to Plate and 2023 Fall Harvest events

- Two tickets to the 2023 Farm to Plate (FTP) and/or 2023 Fall Harvest Reception(s)
- Recognition in Produce Now, CPMA’s monthly e-bulletin, and HortShorts, FVGC’s e-bulletin
- Annual recognition of Joint Advocacy Fund sponsors in CPMA and FVGC communication
$3,000 – Sponsorship of 2023 Farm to Plate or 2023 Fall Harvest event (sponsor’s choice)
- Company name recognition on sponsor materials
- Prominent recognition with your logo on key promotional material and on-site signage
- Two tickets to the 2023 Farm to Plate (FTP) and/or 2023 Fall Harvest Reception(s)

Board of Director’s Summer Tour
Every summer the FVGC Board of Directors comes together for a face-to-face meeting in a different region of Canada, and takes part in a farm tour with industry stakeholders and policymakers.

Board of Director’s Summer Tour Sponsorship Packages
Sponsorship of tour bus - $2000
Your support will be recognized in the tour program: “Today’s tour bus generously supported by Company XYZ”. Participants will be getting on and off the bus frequently during the tour, so they will be reminded of your support many times throughout the day.
Co-sponsor this opportunity: $1000
Sponsorship of tour program - $500
We will display your logo on the inside cover of the tour program, and include a message that reads: “This tour program is generously sponsored by Company XYX”.
Co-sponsor this opportunity: $250
Sponsorship of on-bus refreshments - $300
During the tour, participants aboard the bus will enjoy a personal serving of snacks and refreshments (bottled water, fruit, energy bar, etc.) courtesy of your support. This will be recognized within the event program.
Co-sponsor this opportunity: $150
Sponsorship of lunch menu - $1500
Mid-way through the tour, participants will break for lunch. Sponsors will be recognized in this portion of the tour program.
Co-sponsor this opportunity: $750
