Mark your calendars!
What: CPMA and CHC Fall Harvest Meetings on Parliament Hill
Where: Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel, Ottawa & Parliament Hill
When: November 5-7, 2018
Why should I participate?
Impact: The right policy decisions can have tremendously positive impacts on the produce industry. During last year’s Fall Harvest event, we met with nearly 60 elected representatives and their staff to discuss key issues, including improvements to temporary foreign worker programs. Shortly thereafter, the government lifted the four-in, four-out cumulative duration rule. Our voices were heard; with your help, they will be heard again.
Strength in numbers: Over 40 growers and industry representatives joined us in Ottawa last year. We hope more of you will participate this year. The more who participate, the greater the number of elected officials we will be able to meet with, and the greater our chances of success.
How do I register?
Registration details, including hotel booking, will be available soon. Until then, please mark your calendars to be in Ottawa from November 5-7, 2018.
