The Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada (FVGC) President, Marcus Janzen, wishes to announce that Massimo Bergamini will begin a transition from his role as Executive Director as he moves toward retirement. The Board is grateful for his leadership and for the organizational achievements made during his tenure.
Massimo joined FVGC with a plan to help realize our Fresh Approach, with a focus on revitalizing our approach to strategy, governance, and advocacy. Under his leadership, the Food Lens moved from idea to action. Our election platform resonated across political parties, including Liberal references to the Food Lens and greenhouse investment, and the Speech from the Throne emphasized food security and agricultural producers.
Over the coming months, Massimo will support a thoughtful transition, ensuring continuity for our members and partners while positioning FVGC for its next chapter.
