Organizations need to occasionally check what direction they are moving in to make sure they’re still going where they want to go. With this in mind, the Canadian Horticultural Council (CHC)’s Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and staff recently participated in a planning session to discuss the organization’s high-level strategy. The group discussed CHC’s mission and vision, and established a list of key result areas and related goals that CHC will focus on over the next few years. These result areas will help guide CHC’s efforts and prioritize its allocation of resources. CHC’s updated strategy, mission and vision will be presented to the membership at its 2017 Annual General Meeting in Winnipeg, March 14-16.
