Ces fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 octroy\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme Agri-marketing du Partenariat canadien pour une agriculture durable afin de soutenir le projet de Strat\u00e9gie d\u2019acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9 mondial et de croissance de l\u2019industrie canadienne de la pomme de terre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les projets financ\u00e9s par le programme Agri-marketing se concentrent principalement sur l'aide au secteur agricole et agroalimentaire \u00e0 diversifier ses march\u00e9s internationaux, \u00e0 accro\u00eetre et \u00e0 maintenir les march\u00e9s d'exportation pour les produits ou les producteurs canadiens, et\/ou \u00e0 \u00e9largir les occasions de promouvoir les produits ou les producteurs canadiens sur le march\u00e9 national.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00ab Le Conseil canadien de la pomme de terre, groupe de travail national sur la pomme de terre des Producteurs de fruits et l\u00e9gumes du Canada, s\u2019engage \u00e0 renforcer l\u2019acc\u00e8s aux march\u00e9s mondiaux pour les pommes de terre canadiennes \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident du Conseil canadien de la pomme de terre, Bill Zylmans. \u00ab Le financement que nous avons re\u00e7u pour le projet de Strat\u00e9gie d\u2019acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9 mondial et de croissance de l\u2019industrie canadienne de la pomme de terre soutiendra une pr\u00e9sence nationale unifi\u00e9e par l'entremise d'une participation \u00e0 des salons commerciaux internationaux, de la mobilisation des march\u00e9s et d'actions de plaidoyer cibl\u00e9es. Ce projet est essentiel pour appuyer les accords commerciaux existants et maintenir nos march\u00e9s cl\u00e9s, tout en diversifiant les accords commerciaux, ce qui comprend une expansion vers les march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La contribution financi\u00e8re de 198 000 $ appuiera la participation \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s internationales qui font progresser les int\u00e9r\u00eats du secteur.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les activit\u00e9s aux \u00c9tats-Unis cibleront plusieurs enjeux cl\u00e9s, notamment l'am\u00e9lioration de la communication et l'harmonisation transfrontali\u00e8re, la promotion de la collaboration internationale entre les chercheurs, les enseignants et les professionnels de l'industrie, ainsi que l'avancement de la durabilit\u00e9 de la pomme de terre en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.
