OTTAWA, ON \u2013 Les Producteurs de fruits et l\u00e9gumes du Canada (PFLC) ont nomm\u00e9 Stephen Heckbert au poste de directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, \u00e0 compter du 8 septembre. M. Heckbert poss\u00e8de plus de 25 ans d\u2019exp\u00e9rience en tant que gestionnaire bilingue d\u2019entreprise et de communications dans divers secteurs, y compris l\u2019agriculture, ayant r\u00e9cemment occup\u00e9 le poste de directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Conseil canadien du porc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sa nomination survient alors que les PFLC continuent de pr\u00e9coniser en faveur du secteur canadien des fruits et l\u00e9gumes frais dans un contexte g\u00e9opolitique impr\u00e9visible, en mettant l'accent sur le r\u00f4le crucial des producteurs de fruits et l\u00e9gumes pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire nationale et dynamiser les \u00e9conomies r\u00e9gionales.
