Growers are encouraged to provide input, as their insights will be used to help shape future proposals and advance the policy and regulatory process.<\/p>\n<p>Both public consultations run <strong>from June 10 to July 25, 2017<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/programs\/consultation-canada-food-guide.html\">Public consultation on the revision of Canada\u2019s Food Guide<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The input received during this second consultation will be used to develop new consumer messages, tools and resources. A \u201cWhat We Heard Report\u201d summarizing input received during the first round of consultations held in fall 2016 is also available.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/programs\/consultation-restricting-unhealthy-food-and-beverage-marketing-to-children.html\">Public consultation on restricting the marketing of unhealthy foods and beverages to children<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is the first public consultation that will be used to shape this regulatory initiative.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Health Canada is seeking input on two elements of the Healthy Eating Strategy.
