{"id":2865,"date":"2016-07-04T09:02:58","date_gmt":"2016-07-04T13:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hortcouncil.ca\/?p=2865"},"modified":"2016-07-04T09:02:58","modified_gmt":"2016-07-04T13:02:58","slug":"chc-greenhouse-committee-hires-resource","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fvgc.ca\/fr\/2016\/07\/04\/chc-greenhouse-committee-hires-resource\/","title":{"rendered":"CHC Greenhouse Committee hires resource"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CHC Greenhouse Committee Chair, Linda Delli Santi, is pleased to announce the hiring of Julie Paillat as the National Coordinator, Greenhouse Vegetable Sector.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Paillat holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Agronomy) from the University of Manitoba and is a registered Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the Ontario Institute of Agrologists.<\/p>\n<p>In previous positions she served as a Research and Innovation Specialist with the Egg Farmers of Canada, a Soybean Breeding Research Associate with Monsanto Canada and an Agronomist with Les Semences Elite du Qu\u00e9bec. She is fluently bilingual.<\/p>\n<p>Julie will travel to the Leamington area to visit greenhouse vegetable production facilities in July and take up her position in the offices of the Canadian Horticultural Council in September.<\/p>\n<p>L.\u00a0Delli Santi noted \u201cWe have always admired the Canadian\u00a0Potato Council model and are looking to replicate their success.
